Friday's Five 🖐🏼 #106
Happy Friday's Five,
I'm back in Berlin after a few days in the U.S. and ready for a weekend out of the city.
What I'm reading
My father had a lifelong ticket to fly anywhere. Then they took it away – The Guardian
How did WeWork’s Adam Neumann turn office space with “community” into a $47 billion company? Not by sharing – NY Mag
What I'm listening to
'Honey' is one of the strongest songs by Robyn and I was excited to listen to writing and production process of this very song in a recent episode of The Song Exploder. Check it out!
It's always a pleasure to listen to Seth Godin speak and this conversation with his friend is Brian Koppelman of The Moment podcast is another great example for that.
What I'm watching
Dr. Lucy Hone is a resilience expert who lost her 12-year old daughter in a car accident. In this TEDx talk, she shares the three strategies that got her through an unimaginable tragedy—and offers a profound insight on human suffering. Thanks to FF reader, Cécile, for sharing this!
What I'm thinking about
My thoughts are with my aunt today and her four children and many grandchildren. She suddenly passed away after a series of complications she developed after a surgery. ♥
What else?!
My buddies Waldemar and Philipp of einhorn, a Berlin-based company that produces vegan condoms and sustainable period products shared their bold vision to organize a climate action in Berlin's Olympic stadium in 2020 with 73.000 people. It's crazy and it's bold and it's needed. Which makes them the Leaders of the Week.
Have a great weekend, thanks for reading.
David
