Friday's Five 🖐🏼 #132
Happy Friday's Five,
Week #2 done here at my sister's house near Brussels and I think I've finally found my groove. I co-facilitated a first set of vision workshops and coaching sessions online, spent a lot of time in the woods with my nephews (we built a hut!), and I cooked every day for the family. It felt like a good week.
What I'm reading
I didn't know this when I started reading 'The Office: The Untold Story of the Greatest Sitcom of the 2000s: An Oral History' but this week 15 years ago, the U.S. version of The Office premiered on television. It's been one of my favorite comedy series of all times and I've watched the entire series a few times in those 15 years. Reading the book is like sitting down with the cast and production crew of the series and it was a fun read.
What I'm listening to
What feels like the longest month of March in years came to an end which means my month in music is available as a playlist on Spotify. Listen to it here.
What I'm watching
Speaking of The Office, and in another coincidence, I stumbled upon this video featuring John Krasinski (who plays Jim Halpert in the series) who is using the current Corona situation to create a news channel for good news: SGN - for Some Good News.
What I'm thinking about
"And then the whole world walked inside and shut the door and said 'We will stop it all. Everything.' To protect our weaker ones, our sicker ones, our older ones. And nothing, NOTHING in the entire history of humankind ever felt more like love than this." – found on Twitter.
What else?!
I've mentioned above that I've been cooking for the family most nights since I got here and I've been enjoying the Kitchen Stories app a lot. Some of my favorite recipes I tried are the lemon hazelnut spaghetti carbonara (we used pine nuts and tagliatelle instead) and the curried carrot soup. Check out the app here, and happy cooking!
Thanks for reading, have a great weekend!
