Friday's Five 🖐🏼 #42
Friends,
it's been a tough week. My dad has been in a critical state after a series of complications after a heart surgery so I'm back home to be with him and family. He's making small and important steps and we remain hopeful.
What I'm reading
The Surprising Power of Questions (Harvard Business Review)
Below The Surface – Amsterdam drained a canal and put everything they found online, organized by time from the 14th century to present day. So wild.
Can Elon Musk and Tesla Reinvent the Way Cars Are Made? (The New York Times)
What I'm listening to
My Month in Music – June 2018 (Spotify). Since Spotify added the feature to share straight into Instagram Stories, I've been sharing a Song Of The Day. A follower on Instagram suggested that I capture all Songs Of The Day in a playlist. I think that's a good idea so I'm giving it a go. Follow My Month in Music - July 2018 if you like.
The Webb Chatham Report – Episode #1 (Apple Podcasts). Rick is an old buddy of mine and I've always been impressed by the volume of creative output, his memory, and breadth of insights. Glad he finally is sharing some of his thinking in this new podcast. To top it off, Rick has the quintessential podcaster voice. Highly recommended for nerds.
What I'm watching
Medici: Masters of Florence (Netflix)
What I'm thinking about
How to ask better questions.
What else?!
Recently, I sat down with Jasmine of The Workaround Podcast to talk about some of the things I've learned about leadership, personal development, and company culture. Check it out on Apple Podcasts or SoundCloud (in German).
