Friday's Five ππΌ #43
Hello,
it's been another rough week (thanks for all the kind messages of support after last week's edition!) and my dad is still in intensive care. It's a been another week of small steps and setbacks, of waiting and hoping.
What I'm reading
Inside the Battle that Almost Brought Down Merkel (Der Spiegel). So tired of old and white male manbabies in politics...
... speaking of which: Boris Johnson Has Ruined Britain (NY Times). βHe knows that the verdict of history is about to come down on him β and bury him.β
Der Untergang (SZ Magazin, in German)
Where Is Barack Obama? (NY Mag)
What I'm listening to
99% Invisible β The Right to Roam (Apple Podcasts). What happens when you wander around Madonna's property.
July 2018 β here's my month in music so far if you would like to follow along. Every day I add a new song to the playlist after sharing it on Instagram Stories (Spotify).
What I'm watching
How to sound smart in your TEDx Talk β Will Stephen (YouTube). Made me chuckle.
What I'm thinking about
My dad.
What else?!
