Friday's Five 🖐🏼 #56
Happy Friday,
a busy, intense, and exciting week comes to an end. I spent the week in Munich and Berlin with existing clients and a new client and look forward to joining the #Unteilbar march and EyeEm Photo Awards this weekend.
What I'm reading
We’re in a new age of obesity. How did it happen? You’d be surprised (The Guardian)
The Dutch Reach: A No-Tech Way to Save Bicyclists’ Lives (The New York Times)
What I'm listening to
Recode Decode with Kara Swisher – Maggie Haberman & Lydia Polgreen (Apple Podcasts)
Anna Tivel – Small Believer (Spotify). Stunning opening track by this raw talent.
What I'm watching
Operation Finale (Netflix). Excellent cast (Melanie Laurent & Ben Kingsley amongst others) in this biopic about "The Architect of the Holocaust", Adolf Eichmann.
What I'm thinking about
"External success is achieved through competition with others. But character is built during the confrontation with your own weakness." – David Brooks
What else?!
Isa and I interviewed Eva Schulz of Deutschland 3000, a journalistic video series that aims at engaging young people politically. Eva is a rising star in Germany's journalism and it was a great conversation. We also welcomed our first partner of the German Role Models Podcast, She's Mercedes. Listen on rolemodels.co/podcast
Enjoy your weekend,
David
