Friday's Five ππΌ #71
Happy Friday's Five,
greetings from Venice, California, where I am spending the last few days before heading back to Europe next week. I'm out for runs along the ocean every morning and the sun and the water really make this a special place and time.
What I'm reading
'London Bridge is down': the secret plan for the days after the Queenβs death β The Guardian
Conversations With Friends β Sally Rooney β Goodreads
Awaken The Giant Within β Anthony Robbins β Goodreads
What I'm listening to
Maggie Rogers' first full-length album is out and it is good.
Conon O'Brien has a new podcast in where he meets (famous) people to explore if they can become friends in real life. I enjoyed the episodes with Will Ferrell, Dax Shepard, and Marc Maron. Conan needs more women on his show.
What I'm watching
Relatable β Ellen de Generes delivers on this one. Confident and hilariously funny β Netflix
Fyre Festival β the documentary that everybody's talking about. What surprised me most is that people kept falling for Billy McFarland's charade and what angered me most is that the local Bahamians were left unpaid β Netflix
What I'm thinking about
βA man who suffers before it is necessary, suffers more than is necessary.β Seneca
What else?!
