Friday's Five 🖐🏼 #86
Happy Friday's Five,
a slow and quiet week comes to an end, a nice and welcome change. I spent Monday in Hamburg with Isa on stage at an event to record a live-taping of a Role Models podcast episode.
What I'm reading
Look at me by Anita Brookner. A short and exceptionally well written story about a women and her "friends" – Goodreads
How Rupert Murdoch's empire of influence remade the world. A fascinating three-piece in-depth look into the history of the Murdochs and the creation of their media empire – The New York Times
What I'm listening to
Decoding Difficult Conversations - An Interview with Negotiation Expert Sheila Heen by The Knowledge Project
What I'm watching
Dead To Me – Netflix
What I'm thinking about
The 2019 elections for the European Parliament are coming up and a friend and I were discussing which parties would end up making waves. It feels like a tipping point for the green party, in particular here in Germany. I'm really curious to see the voter turnout with young people. In any case, make sure to vote!
What else?!
Franziska von Hardenberg is one of the 8% women founders in Germany and known for her energetic and infectious optimism and maker attitude. Isa and I interviewed her a few weeks ago live on stage and we just released the episode of The Role Models Podcast with Franzi in German this week. Listen and get inspired here: https://www.rolemodels.co/podcast/franziska-von-hardenberg/
Thanks for reading, have a great weekend!
