Friday's Five ๐๐ผ #96
Happy Friday's Five,
Hello from the lovely city of Cambridge where I just went for a run before spending another day with leaders of my client Booking.com. Hope you had a good week, here's what kept me engaged:
What I'm reading
The Rise and Fall of French Cuisine by Wendell Steavenson for The Guardian. A great long yet short enough read about the past and present of French cuisine.
What I'm listening to
Insightful nuggets of wisdom. This is what came to mind after listening to this conversation between Tim Ferriss and Seth Godin from 2016. If you click one link in this edition of the newsletter, then make it this one, it's filled with a great set of lessons and I just love the simplicity in Seth's thinking and communicating.
What I'm watching
Crashing โ Fleabag's Phoebe Waller-Bridge in another comedy series. I'm on the fence on this one. Find it on Netflix.
What I'm thinking about
"Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom." โ Viktor Frankl
What else?!
I spent a few hours with Adrien, CEO of my client Cowboy this week. They just started shipping version 2 of their smart e-bike and if you're interested, check it out.
โThanks for reading, have a great weekend!
David
